Rutland Water – 3/8/11

Before the rains came I managed to find a single adult Arctic Tern on the fishponds dam plus 7 Greenshank, 5 Green Sandpipers and a Ringed Plover in the North Arm. In South Arm III a juvenile Osprey was watched fishing and at the reservoir dam at least 8 juvenile Yellow Wagtails were a nice surprise.
